What Guests Are Saying
Whitehall Bay offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning lake views and well-spaced sites, making it a great escape from city life. The campgrounds are generally clean, with good facilities such as hot showers and individual/group sites equipped with electricity and water. However, access roads are rough and poorly maintained, and some restroom facilities could use better upkeep. Overall, it's a lovely location for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

The whole campground was beautiful and our campsite was excellent with a picturesque view. We arrived at dusk, but the campground host was very helpful in showing us our site. He even drove over to show us the exact spot. The bathrooms were fine. All our neighbors were respectful except one who chose to have a drinking party until midnight or so. He was openly drinking whiskey the next morning, too. I can't hold that against the camp or host, however, and it shouldn't count much against our overall experience. Maybe a late drive through by a park staff member could reduce the possibility of this happening.

We were the only folks at our end of the park for several days, we enjoyed the peace and quite. Harold and his wife (camp hosts) were great, they came by daily to check if we needed anything and would spend time visiting. Great people. Only recommendation would be to improve the roads accessing the park.

What a beautiful campground! I think the picture on Recreation.gov was taken from our site since we have picture of a sunset that's almost identical.
The facilities were clean as was the water and electric hookup campsite. Shade trees and mowed grass made this campground park-like.

The camp host--Harold, was super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and grounds were immaculate. Only ding is not having water available on all RV sites.

Whitehall bay is beautiful. The trees, the sunsets, camphosts, cleanliness...all above and beyond expectations.
Very convenient to have sewer right at campsite, no stopping to dump on way out.
Highly recommend Whitehall Bay
