What Guests Are Saying
Whitehall Bay is a peaceful and spacious campground, offering beautiful lakeside views and a well-maintained swimming area. Visitors appreciated the accommodating staff, especially during plumbing issues, and noted the campground's proximity to nature for outdoor activities. However, some facilities, like the bathrooms, need maintenance, and access roads can be challenging, but overall, guests found it a lovely retreat worth revisiting.

We camped during the week. Almost felt like we were the only ones there. Very peaceful

The campground itself was great. Getting there was a terrible experience. We were coming across 54 and were going to drop down from the north into the campground, all of the roads going south are dirt. We then took 99 and went south thinking we would come in from the west - you got it, the roads were all dirt. We traveled on south to 400 and then back east. It's nine miles from the turn off of 400 to the campground and, again, part of it was dirt. The road is full of holes and in bad shape. We liked the campground, we had good Verizon cell service, but probably will never go back because of the roads getting there.

The site was muddy, with lots of noisy ATV traffic coming by. The real problem were the trains which ran right by the campsite and blew their horns at all hours of the day. It was hard to get to sleep and we were always awoken several times during the night by trains blaring their horns.

Campsite #18 was nice other than the picnic table desperately needing replaced.
Bathrooms were functional, nothing more.
The swim area needed desperate attention as there is no clear path to it, the sand is all gone, and it's a muddy mess and covered with debris.
Definitely a remote area so plan to bring all needed supplies for your trip. Also, at minimum a couple miles of narrow and gravel roads (or more depending on which way you come in). We were here for just under a week. During the weekdays we almost had the place to ourself, only 2 other campers in the whole park which was nice.

White Hall Bay is an excellent campground. It is quiet. Good roads. Level RV pads. Close to the Fall River Lake and the campsites have good spacing.

We are glad they decided to open reservations back up in October after being shut down in September the last 2-3 years. Love this campground for our annual October camping trip with family.

Service was sketchy with Verizon. No TV stations. All hookups worked well. Love these campgrounds. We are self contained and did not use toilets or showers.
