We have used this campground several times on our way to destinations further away, to break up the drive. It is a quiet campground and usually easy to get into. Our only complaint would be the lack of cell phone service. If we we planning to spend more than one night, we would opt for the state park side, where phone coverage was available.

We loved our time here. We stayed in the primitive loop with no one else around. The sites have space so you’re not cramped in. There are 2 vault toilets that were clean and stocked while we were there. The camp hosts were friendly and drove by daily. We even saw a Sheriff deputy drive through once just checking the area. What we didn’t like was the lack of cell service in the campground. I think the dam blocks the towers because once you’re closer to the top, you have great service. First time in the area, but we’re planning to visit again.

Was not aware of loud music being played till 10pm. Also power was not stable. My surge protector showed good wiring when setup then when packing up it was open neutral and burned up surge protector. But it was kinda peaceful. Cell service not good at all.

This was my second time camping in the outlet channel at Elk City Lake. The camp sites are large, and its quiet. The campground is well kept. There is a playground, basketball court and volleyball court, the camp hosts also provide ball's to use. The only facilities are vault toilets, but there is a shower house up the road in the main campgrounds.

We had a big family gathering with some family coming from out of state. We had a wonderful time. The campsites are nice, and well kept. The only complaint anyone had was that there is not a shower house available at the campground. They've done nice work there, they just need to add a shower house.
