What Guests Are Saying
Curtis Creek Campground is well-maintained and offers a beautiful, peaceful environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts. Guests appreciate the great fishing and scenic views of the lake, making it a popular destination for families. However, some areas need improvements, such as upgrading the bathrooms and adding 50-amp service in certain loops, as well as addressing some unlevel campsites.

We have been camping at curtis creek for 5+ years. Always enjoyed it. The last couple years we have been unable to camp because of flooding and then our schedule, when we camped for 5 days in May we enjoyed it, but it is very frustrating when all the effort and money to put in new grass and people park on it, or many very young 3-5 aged children are at the playgrounds unsupervised. I was not happy with the amount of dog feces not picked up either. And the check in 6p and check out 6p if not wonderful. Some people where waiting to get in the spots they reserved and some people arrived around 4 and had to wait and set up in dark.
I do enjoy all the wonderful sights and room each sight has! I also enjoyed the clean bathrooms and hot showers!!

Hidden gem right on the water. Not much shade but beautiful. 50 amp power with water. Good cell coverage. Dump site easy to access.

Curtis Creek is our favorite place in Kansas to camp but it would be better if Curtis Creek would upgrade the electric to 50 amp.

Quiet and beautiful. If you're planning to camp in a tent, there really aren't good flat tent spots, only graveled parking pads. We planned to sleep in our tent but ended up clearing out the bed of the truck to sleep there. Other than not realizing that before arriving, everything was great and as expected. Beautiful stargazing.
