Check in at the campground at 6 pm is too late . We arrived early in the day and had to wait till late afternoon till the current camper left the spot.

Water line had been dug up and was very unlevel and muddy right in the middle of all activities.

We enjoyed camping at Farnham Creek. It is our favorite place to camp.

The grass could be mowed more often. We have had to bring our own mower out many times this summer to keep the grass at a normal length.

staff was friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean but are showing their age, however the grass needed mowing and most of the pads need more gravel and leveling

Nice park but beware if you are a fisherman, if you don’t put in at state park, there are no fish cleaning stations. You have to clean at your campsite and take remains to boat dock area and dump them back in water.
Go to Abilene to see greyhound hall of fame, it’s cool. Fish hatchery by dam is cool too.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the campground, shower house and restrooms. The campground hosts were pleasant to deal with and keep the campsites well maintained.

The public showers could have used some maintenance as they were in poor shape.
