We were tent camping, and we had to put the tent very far from the water and electric hookup in order to find a somewhat flat area. We did have one shade tree. Being on the corner gave us more space. As someone else stated, the drive itself was definitely not level, so someone would need lots of equipment to get their camper level in that spot. All in all we would stay there again.

Great location. Junction City not far away. Abilene not far. Some neat places to see. Lake views from campsites.

Camp host - Ed was very pleasant to talk to and made us feel welcomed and we appreciated his hospitality to anything if needed. The camper site was extremely unlevel and we used everything we had and still not able to level the tv.

We had a fun time with camper and boat at the Farnum Creek campground in July. It was pretty as was expected but being near the boat dock and just up from the water made it so fun!

Very Quit stay. Granddaughter loved it. And wants to go back. Play ground nice need a little repair on it. But for sure we will be back again next season.

Spaces are relatively small, hostess is rude, grass is usually over a foot tall, more expensive than other sites where you have more peace and room to move about.

Take I-70 to exit 295 then north on Highway 77. Drive 11 mi to park entrance.

Arrival & departure
- Visitor hours are limited and end at a specified time.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
