Rockhaven Park Campground and Equestrian Area offers clean facilities, hot showers, and well-kept campsites, making it a pleasant destination for campers and equestrians alike. Many appreciate the spacious sites and well-marked trails, although some trails require maintenance and are currently affected by flooding. I love this campground they have hot showers, restrooms, a dumpster, playground, shelter, and potable water. My only complaint would be that the spaces not reserved for equestrian use are not shady. Since the spaces reserved for horse folks are sparsely used, it might make sense to open up more spots for other campers.

Got a campsite we could use a couple hoses to fill holding tanks. Would not have stayed in one we could not get water. Wish the lower trail by the water was open to have more riding options. Debris from flood still an issue so trail was closed. Understand that does take a lot of work. Otherwise the campground was clean, pens were good and close to campsite. Not “packed” in together like private campgrounds seem to do. Great weekend!

t was raining and cold trails to wet to ride, we didn't go. Was to late to cancel and get refund. Think it would be nice if we would have had option to reschedule it least. We are going next weekend hopefully trails will be dried out.

Rangers need to patrol more often as there are none equestrian campers staying in equestrian spots that should not be allowed. We work hard on our trails and equestrian people want to come, but they can’t because it’s full.

Clean bathrooms, hot showers with excellent pressure. This campground seems lightly used. Its emphasis is as a facility for equestrian campers but there are a few spaces for non-horsey campers as well. Perhaps it would be more utilized if more of the spaces were horse-optional. There are trails for hiking or riding as well as a picnic shelter and small playground.

The campground and trails are wonderful, I’ve been going here for years. However the constant non-equestrians that stay in the park are hazardous and unsafe. We’ve had non-equestrian campers drive fast, have late night parties with drugs, and use up horse sites with pens. The corp has really laxed in enforcement of this being a “horse only” campground. It’s very unfortunate as the trails around this campground were established by the community and maintained for over 50 years. All that hard work will most likely be for nothing in the future if something isn’t done. Horse people won’t come camp if they don’t feel safe.
