Was given the wrong information by a phone tech when trying to set up a reservation, was told first come were available. Set up camper on an available spot and had Ranger Aaron S. show up to tell us it has been reserved. Aaron went out of this way, was very kind and professional and helped us with our issue. KUDOS TO AARON SPRINGER IS WELL DESERVED. Great place to camp in a beautiful area. Some spots are extremely windy and we did get hit with a straight line wind but was able to rescue awning with minimal damage, others were not so lucky. Keep your awning in if out on a boat for the day in windy areas, that storm came out of nowhere. In touring the campsites we noticed some sites do not get the wind but on an 80 degree day those spots were quite warm and mildly uncomfortable.

We have been to Marion numerous times and is our favorite camping spot. Took my cousins with us on their first camping trip with their first camper. It was a perfect weekend for them. The water access behind the camping spot was what they wanted. They are hooked now.

Nice spots with water, electric, and sewer. Really nice picnic table at the spot with an awning. Nice fire pit with a grill for cooking. Only negative was the grass needed mowed.

The campsite was okay but the bench at the picnic table closest to the RV pad is loose on one end. Bolts loose. Also only having 4 days prior to wanting to camp to reserve the site is ridiculous, very bad policy.

Loved these campsites-spacious and shady. Only cost mplait was our water spiket had been run over. It still worked but water pressure a little low

The pads are not very level. There were many different kinds of birds that we enjoyed watching. We had a good weekend, will prepare differently for RV steps if we ever go back.

Beautiful park and it's a shame to see it being neglected. There is no camp host, so be prepared to battle for your reserved spot.
