Hillsboro Cove is our favorite local get-a-way with large, quiet RV spaces, some with waterfront. Restrooms and showers are always clean. Easy water access for boats, kayaks, canoes. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Very relaxed. Of course it is fall so the campground was not very full.

Clean park and friendly volunteers. Weather was good and saw deer, pelicans, blue heron, sea gulls, and other birds

Nice sites near the lake.
Only bad thing was both restrooms were out of order. Can’t understand how BOTH can be out of order at the same time.

couldn't find the campground, no signage from the direction we came, it was also dark. Ended up staying at cottonwood creek which I would give 5 stars if asked.

What a beautiful COE campground! Vast open grassy areas that are mowed regularly, dependable electric at our site, large trash cans, clean bathrooms, great showers. The lake is beautiful, wish we had brought our kayak on this trip. Google map instructions are wrong, but the road signs are easy to follow once you are close.
