What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a picturesque campground located on the water, offering clean facilities, spacious sites, and a serene atmosphere, making it a great spot for camping and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful views, quiet surroundings, and accessibility to town for supplies. However, some noted maintenance issues, particularly with the entrance road and restroom facilities, which detracted from their overall experience.

Hillsboro Cove is kept trimmed up, weeds taken care of, pleasing restful atmosphere. Quiet surroundings with trees, lake views, grills for cooking, fire rings for great night time fires.

Very clean spots that are a great size for our familt of 5. We were able to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The sheriff and park ranger drive through a lot which makes us feel safe and that's probably why they're so clean. Definitely recommend.

Hillsboro Cove is our favorite place to go. We have camping sites that are closer to home, but it's worth the extra drive. Spacious spots, lots of open area to walk our fur-baby and easy access to the water. We always enjoy the quick trip in to Hillsboro for a treat at Sonic.

We had a great time. There was no camp host, so you were kind of on your own if questions arose. The park ranger and county sheriff made rounds. We had no noise or rowdiness issues so that was a plus. Our niece was camped across from us and had no water hook up and then they had a water pump issue. The sites on either side of us though "reserved" had no one all weekend. It would have been great to have someone to discuss the availability of those sites and allow them to move to a water access site.
