This is one of the nicest Corp campgrounds we have been to. Grounds are immaculate. They have very nice well maintained walking & biking trails. I appreciated the laundry room available in each camp loop. Laundry room was very nice and clean. Did not use bathroom facilities but I'm sure they were just as clean. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

One of the best parks I have camped at. Great shade, nice trails, and fantastic scenery. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of warm water. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Weather was much cooler than a typical August making the stay super. The space was shaded as well. It is generally level and clean. Met some fellow campers in adjoining spaces that further enhanced our stay. We elected to stay 2 additional days.

We were in C-Loop, 141, next to the Bathhouse. The campgrounds were neat and clean, and freshly mowed. The fishing dock was closed fir some reason and the swim area was closed due to algae blooms. We always enjoy eating pizza at Buzzards Pizza in Lyndon (14 miles from Melvern Lake) on our way to Melvern. The pizza is great! We enjoy going to the truckstop at BETO Junction (Burlingame, Emporia, Topeka, Ottawa) for breakfast our last day out at the lake before we head home. Because it was almost 100 degrees, we spent one day at the Waterpark in Emporia about 30 miles down Hwy 35.

Great little park. Level camp site. Clean bathrooms with Laundry.park host friendly and constantly cleaning fire pits after a check out.
