Campsites were spacious. Water was accessible and close. Facilities were clean and well managed. They were also patrolling the park so we felt safe. Our campsite was wide enough and deep enough for easy backing of our5th wheel into it and the campsite was clean. Only improvement might be some more shade.

Ernest is the best! Keeps the bathrooms bleached and clean. All the Rangers were so nice always waving. The check in man is a little grouchy, but overall great experience.

We camped in our 40-ft fifth wheel at Turkey Point (site #38) in late June. The grounds were well-maintained, bathrooms were clean, hosts were friendly. No problems with water and electric hookups. Sites are well spaced, include fire rings, and almost all have shade. There is a nice gravel hiking/biking trail, and I enjoyed some time on the lake in my kayak. Even though it was literally 100 degrees one day, there was always a cool breeze off the lake. If you need activities and entertainment, this may not be the place for you. Even on the weekend before 4th of July, Turkey Point was quiet and almost empty (just like WE like it!) This was our very first trip in our brand new r v. It is only about an hour away from our house, but we will be back!

Easy to access, clean bathrooms. Grass was over 12" tall, hard for kids and pets to enjoy when they don't keep up the campsites mowing. Fire pits are out in the grass so you would think keeping it mowed would be a priority. Lost power twice, so electrical is a bit outdated, had 2 friends have their plugs fried and yes, they had good surge protectors.

Nice campground especially if you’re into water sports. Some open grassy areas for your dog . Clean restrooms.
