to made any buddies experience better would be to make more access down to the water or at least clear the very very few there are so you dont have to walk through the weeds just to get to the water.

Beautiful lake. Spot right on the water with a fantastic sunset. Clean restrooms and showers. Plus a potable water fill and dump station.

Make sure to look at the park map to select a site because the recreation.gov map doesn't zoom in very close and it's really hard to figure out which site you're actually getting.

We wanted a place to spend one night off I40 with electricity. This was easy in and out with clean facilities. (I wish we could have stayed longer.) The Host(s) Husband and Wife were super nice and friendly.

The rangers were very helpful. One area of improvement -- the playground was seething with spiderwebs.
