What Guests Are Saying
Sylvan Park is a well-maintained campground noted for its large, shaded pull-through sites and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, including hot showers and restrooms, as well as the friendly camp hosts. While some trees require hazard limb removal, the park's quiet location below the dam, along with easy access to nearby recreational activities, makes it a favorite among campers.

Very nice smaller campground with a large number large pull throughs. A mix of 30 and 50 amp sites located below the dam in a grove of large Cottonwoods. Park is well maintained with hot showers. Only negative is many trees need hazard limbs removed. There is a nice interpretive trail nearby.

Great time. This facility is maintained very, very well. Love the western Kansas ethic. Restrooms in great shape and the park is completely under utilized in the Winter setting. We thoroughly enjoy our time here every time we visit. Thank you to the great staff that keeps the campground in order.

The campground is located below the Lake Wilson Dam. It is very quiet. The restrooms and showers are well maintained. The camp hosts have been very pleasant. At night you can hear the coyotes howling in the distant, the night sky is filled with stars.
There is easy access to the lake for fishing, swimming and boating.
