What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the stunning lake views, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. While water is not available until mid-May and some sites may be smaller than others, many guests express a desire to return for more visits.

Beautiful campground. We stayed at site 47. Level with a great view. It was first come first serve when we were there so the bathrooms were closed but there was water at the site.

The campground is very nice - we will definitely come again. You should know, however, that water is not turned on at this campground until May 15 each year. This year, water was available at Sylvan Park so you can travel the water to your site. The sites are not as large as other COE parks, but the location can't be beat. We can't wait to go back again.

We love Lucas Park! We really like how it feels less cramped and the camp host are wonderful and very nice to visit with. The park is always clean and picked up. The restrooms and showers are clean, neat and very well kept. We prefer Lucas Park over Minooka Park anyday.

Our visit to the park was a very nice experience the place is very well maintained and quiet. The Rangers were very helpful and informative with changes that were made in the online purchasing of the sites. Kansas is my home and Wilson lake was a big part of my childhood that I love to remember and still visit. My parents have both passed recently and I like taking the boat out fishing as my last memories of my dad were on the boat fishing with him just weeks ago. I also wanted to thank the local boat repair shop's and marina for helping me get the repairs needed for our older boat to have had a successful vacation/fishing trip.
