Lucas Park is a beautiful campground featuring spacious sites, stunning lake views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some sites may lack leveling, the cleanliness of facilities and the scenic surroundings make it a highly recommended destination for camping enthusiasts.

We love Lucas Park! We really like how it feels less cramped and the camp host are wonderful and very nice to visit with. The park is always clean and picked up. The restrooms and showers are clean, neat and very well kept. We prefer Lucas Park over Minooka Park anyday.

The campground is very nice - we will definitely come again. You should know, however, that water is not turned on at this campground until May 15 each year. This year, water was available at Sylvan Park so you can travel the water to your site. The sites are not as large as other COE parks, but the location can't be beat. We can't wait to go back again.

Beautiful campground. We stayed at site 47. Level with a great view. It was first come first serve when we were there so the bathrooms were closed but there was water at the site.

The camp hosts at Lucas Park are great. There still seems to be too many dogs running loose. Someone needs to enforce the leash rule.

Stayed at campsite #43 and #48 in Lucas Park area. Very nice roomy spots with view of the lake, close to bathrooms and small playground. Enjoyed hiking and boating and the camp hosts kept a close eye on each campsite. This campground is very clean and desirable.
