Lucas Park is a beautiful campground featuring spacious sites, stunning lake views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some sites may lack leveling, the cleanliness of facilities and the scenic surroundings make it a highly recommended destination for camping enthusiasts.

Everything was perfect here. The amenities, the atmosphere, the scenery, the cleanliness, the site space and layout. I wish I could give more stars. Honestly if I could have I would have stayed longer.

Always a good spot in the corner and will camp in that spot again.

Camp host was very friendly. FYI if you are tent camping pick an interior site — this campground does not have tent pads. We originally had a site up against the lake shore but there was not a good level spot to put the tent on. You will need to bring your own pop up for shade!

Nice Park with views of the Lake. We were in site 6 which had electricity. Water was centralized in several places in our section. Gravel site but was not level. We didn't see many sites that were level. The view and peace and quiet easily made up for that shortfall. Also with our Lifetime Pass, the cost was only $12.

What a beautiful campground. It was very warm when we were there and we only had 30amp (our mistake) but we had a very nice stay. Large, spacious sites.

The park, the local towns and their people, so much Beauty nestled in what is always thought of as flat land and fields - Lucas Park is one of the best Army of Corps of Engineers Parks I've ever visited. You could not have asked for a more professional staff, from the volunteer Park Attendant and his wife (who only ever made one mistake...lol) to the Park Custodian who together maintain the immaculate grounds and facilities. This place personifies the true meaning of American Exceptionalism!!! Job well done folks, job well done!
