Seems to always be extremely windy here every time we have stayed here, and poor/spotty cell service can be a problem if you need cell service.

We had a wonderful time camping in Lucas. Camp hosts were always gracious! The grounds are very well kept!

This campground was a stop over on our way home and we are so glad we stopped. We loved the way the pull through sites were half moon shaped and we had an incredible view of the lake. It was easy to push our special needs son in his wheelchair. Bathrooms were clean and playground was nice for kids and there is easy access to playgrounds in the different locations. Recommend anyone needing a place to lay their head for the night or spend a few peaceful days from the hectic of every day.

This campground was a stop over on our way home and we are so glad we stopped. We loved the way the pull through sites were half moon shaped and we had an incredible view of the lake. The Lucas Point sites are perfectly situated to catch the sunset and sunrise over the water. You're right on the lake, which is really pretty and relaxing. Not a lot between the sites so you you can see other campers. There are leveled out spaces for tents, but you need to park on the grass/find some level ground if you're sleeping in a car.

From Interstate 70, north of Wilson, Kansas, take exit 206 to Highway 232 north. Continue for 9 miles and follow signs to the park, located on the left.

- Off-road vehicles are not permitted
- Park Attendants may not be present. Camping Day Use hang tag for boat ramp use are available at the entrance booth in the black box.
- Limit of one RV and one tent or two tents per camp pad
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
