What Guests Are Saying
Minooka Park offers beautiful scenery and well-maintained, spacious campsites, making it a great camping destination. Guests appreciate the clean facilities, friendly staff, and recreational opportunities available, particularly the stunning views of the lake. However, some campers noted the need for more water hookup sites and improvements to certain amenities, such as leveling issues on some pads and increased accessibility to water.

the weather was great very little wind the water was great also. We had 4 great grandchildren camping with us, this was there first time. Met some new friends and the campsite was clean when we arrived and when we left. The only thing that was not good is the camp site wasn't very level. Had to put the tongue on the ground to get close. Bath houses were in great shape. The campground was quiet for the most part. Looking forward to our next outing

Shower houses and all bathrooms were clean and park was looking real good. Big shower house although did not have hot water but the other one did and we liked it even more. Going back in one week. Wilson lake is beautiful!

The sites are clean and spaced-out well. Our site, B05, was a nice pull-through, with a great view of (and access to) the lake.

We love staying in Minooka park at Wilson park. Though it saddens e that people are able to rent spots for an extended time just to set their camper, and then come up to stay at their convenience. This keeps other from enjoying the lake, when those that rented choose not to come camping. I know there’s no easy answer, but something needs done.
