What Guests Are Saying
Minooka Park offers beautiful scenery and well-maintained, spacious campsites, making it a great camping destination. Guests appreciate the clean facilities, friendly staff, and recreational opportunities available, particularly the stunning views of the lake. However, some campers noted the need for more water hookup sites and improvements to certain amenities, such as leveling issues on some pads and increased accessibility to water.

Campsite rather uneven with large rock/gravel on surface. Would be very easy to turn an ankle on it

Pretty park. Tornado took out a lot of trees so now there are great views from most any campsite, good news. Could be hot in summer, bad news. Also windy days could be a problem. Overall great park during our stay. Hopefully we can stay again sometime.

We stayed one night on our way to Estes Park and it was a beautiful site. The only complaint was that there was no hot water in the showers. On our way back from Colorado we stayed another night. During this stay, we had warm water in the shower. This may be due to it being during the week and there were less campers. Maybe a bigger water heater would help with this situation.

This campground was perfect except the cold water in the shower.

What a great find! Off the highway a bit, but beautiful, clean campground with lake views from almost every site. Sites are very large and spread out. We found this campground during a cross country road trip and when we go again, we'll definitely stay. We were driving a 36' motorhome with a tow vehicle and had no issues whatsoever in navigating. The only downside is no sewer connection at site, but they have 2 dumpsites in the campground.
