What Guests Are Saying
Trace Branch Campground is praised for its friendly hosts, clean facilities, and beautiful, peaceful setting by the lake, making it ideal for kayaking and fishing. Guests enjoyed the well-maintained restrooms, playground, and community support. However, access roads are narrow and can be challenging, and some sites may be small and uneven.

Trace Branch is my favorite camp ground. The camp host are the best. The grounds are well kept and the bathroom and showers are the cleanest I have seen in a campground.

Awesome drive to pretty lake with fishing access. No hiking trails. Very few trees in campground. Very popular with locals.

It was a wonderful stay. Even though we left a day early because of sickness. But it’s always a very pleasant stay. The Hostess and her family are amazing people. And the firewood is very cheap. Great place !

It’s pretty tricky getting in. There is a switch back that is very tight. We thought about getting out a different way, but the routes out (that an RV could take) were all closed for construction. The camp host is wonderful, friendly and helpful

Excellent quiet place.
Be careful, the road in is narrow and curvy - sometimes only room for 1 vehicle at a time.

Very nice place to stay. Love the bathrooms and the showers are amazing
Spots are kinda small but room for a good sized tent.

As always the hostess was amazingly helpful, friendly and she is constantly cleaning. Normally a bathroom smells terrible but the bathroom and showers were very clean and had supplies.

The campsite was great, super nice people, and really enjoyed the view. If you have an UTV or equivalent it's a great riding. Only have to warn about is take a surge protector due to it does flood there and power box might be damaged. Will definitely be back.

Wasn't prepared for the journey down to the reserve. It's a very small road going down the side of a hill/mountain with no guardrails. I drove my 24ft RV. It was definitely an experience.
Great campground. Very well kept.
* I had No cell service. But I was glad for that. :)
