Wax is a beautiful campground with nice shady lots. The bathrooms and shower stalls are always nice and clean. It’s one of our favorite campgrounds on Nolin.

Beautiful campground, the lake is gorgeous! There wasn't anyone here to check in with the whole time i stayed, so if you have questions when you get here, there won't be anyone available to help. You can hear the road from your site if you are in A or C, but it wasn't too bad at the campsite I stayed at in A. Their bathrooms were decent. However, the showers could use some upgrading. I have Tmobile and had absolutely no connection the whole time I was there. My hotspot router also couldn't get connected, which made it a little hard when looking for nearby things or using your map on your phone. There isn't a laundry facility there, I'm not sure why it says it does on here. There is a boat ramp right outside the campground, and the campground had an extra area for people to put their boats, which I thought was pretty cool. Water and electric worked fine. They had some pretty decent size spots for all different size rigs. There was a playground for the kiddos. I'd def come back here again.

Large coarse gravel campsites. A finer gravel would have been nicer to walk around on. All open fields or open under trees, little privacy, but nicely spaced. Roads are steep in places. Electric and water worked fine, nice large dual dump stations. Can be a workout to reach bathhouses. 24/7 Honor veggie/home canned jelly station, excellent idea. Highway from Munfordville is a twisting, narrow, insane road. Lots of tailgating drivers impatient with necessary RV speeds. Also have to watch for Amish horse and buggy drivers and pedestrians on hills or curves or both. Not the safest road to Wax.

Nice and spacious campsite. We went on a summer weekday and almost have the entire loop B to ourselves. I took one star off because the I encountered a surprise in woman’s bathroom, someone did their business but didn’t plush. Erhhh, why?

Just level the pads. I should not have to use two or three 2x6 to level my camper
