What Guests Are Saying
Pikes Ridge is highly praised as a clean, well-maintained campground with beautiful views and friendly hosts, making it a favorite for many families over the years. Guests appreciate the spacious shower facilities, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent access to water activities like kayaking and fishing. Some minor concerns include the narrow access road and occasional noise from generators, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

I have been camping here for several years. This year I have noticed less presence of park attendants and park rangers. Lot of campers parking in grass and no parking areas.

Been camping her for 30 or more years. Never had any issues. This year there there was a little bunch of thieves. They took our fishing equipment off our boat. The local sheriff did get our stuff back. Another group had a bicycle stolen.

The view is awesome but for a larger camper site 20 is difficult to get in especially if the adjacent spots have cars in their site.

Awesome place. Just three things it needs to be in the top 5 campsites in Kentucky. More docks for boats, shower house and more electric/water sites.

I love camping and Pike's Ridge being on the water. down side no bathhouse and the grounds could be mowed and sites cleaned sprayed for insects and fire rings placement are a hit or miss some too far away, some behind camper if you don't know the sites you might have a problem...more public trash cans there are two in the whole campground other than the dumpster on the top of the hill. love packing my dog bags all around the ground swinging away.. but love the Lake.
