What Guests Are Saying
The Narrows Campground offers clean restrooms, friendly hosts, and spacious campsites with beautiful views, making it a favored choice for many campers. However, some reviews note a decline in maintenance since COVID, with issues like overgrown grass, unlevel sites, and inconsistent amenities. Despite these concerns, visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and are eager to return.

Quiet place with plenty of spots. Very busy on weekends. Fills up fast. Quiet during the rest of week. Stayed here while in area working. It was my preference of the few close camping areas. Very peaceful for sure

Grass was very very high! Hasnβt been cut in a couple weeks! Campground was nice, would have been very nice but when kids canβt play in the grass cause itβs almost taller then them doesnβt make for a good trip. Tell Governor Andy to take care of our parks.

This is the first COE park that Iβm been disappointed in. The roads are narrow and the sites very close together. I drove around the βBβ loop, getting to B50 and didnβt see anything level in the park. The road that cut through the loop was a sharp corner and went straight up-hill. I could have leveled in B50 if I could get in, only because I have a 5th wheel and can work the front jacks. The bushes on the side prevented proper turning and trees interfered with the roof. I could have sawed the branches from the roof but never got that far. The road was too narrow to maneuver the rig and the drop-off ditch in front just made the effort βnot-worth-the-troubleβ. I drove away, leaving my 3 night fees at the gate. I have a medium size rig (35β 5th wheel Reflection and truck). Big rigs would have difficulty making the loop, much less parking. I would not recommend this park for anything larger that 25 feet. Again, close spacing between sites, no extra parking and nothing flat is a turn-off even though this parks looks good from Google Earth!

This was a one night (booked last minute) stop, as a storm had taken out the power and knocked down trees making the previously reserved campsite at a different campground inaccessible. For the last minute availability and inexpensive cost, we are grateful. The site was easy to back into, seemed to be level (did not unhook for one night), and pretty spacious lengthwise. There was also ample space beside us on both sides. There is only one bathhouse, and it was at the end of the loop. If you need to use it, you probably should book in the loop, because it was a bit far from us. The bathhouse is adequate but in need of updating. The water hook up was shared with the person on our campsite, which means we needed (and thankfully had) a really long hose to connect. The electric was in the correct place and worked well until we had a storm in the middle of the night. After that, our a/c was not able to powerfully blow cold air. This only happens when the electric connection is not supplying enough amperage. It may have been an easy fix for the camp host or whomever is in charge, but it was the middle of the night and we were sweating. So we left quickly the next morning. The dump station was adequate. There were a lot of golf carts riding by, boats parked, and kids playing. It looked like it could be a fun place for a longer stay, and it is a great location with proximity to state parks, bodies of water, and things to do.

Amazing campground and amazing host. Even if itβs completely full it never feels crowded.

We absolutely love the narrows! The storms were terrible the weekend before the fourth and as soon as it was safe the camp host were driving around to make sure we were all ok!
