This was a very nice campground. We had a great site B-19.
I called the 800 # and got the reservation same day and the camp host was very nice when we arrived. It was a quiet campground which we appreciated.

We were in A17. A pull thru. Easy set up for us. It was very busy while we were there, but because of the direction of the pull thru, it seemed very private. Wonderful stay.The bathrooms were exceptionaly clean.

Nice place , quiet . Could never find camp host and people at gate only there 3-4 hours a day .

Camp hosts were wonderful . They were kind and helpful.
The campgrounds were clean.
Restroom/shower house was clean. Had great water pressure and hot water.
Beautiful lake!!
Wish we could have spent longer there.
We will definitely be back!!

The camp attendants, Linda and Darrell, were awesome. Always willing to help with any issues that might arise!!! Thanks for always making everyone feel welcome.

We love camping here and have for several years now. It’s our favorite part of the lake, less water traffic, & more quiet. The swimming area is convenient for our large family and little ones to swim while older ones kayak. The bathhouse is well maintained & clean. The marina is practically walking distance and the most honest/fair on the lake (and we’ve dealt with others over the years!!). Our only recent complaint is the lack of groundskeeping. Perhaps it’s still a result of few workers post 2020, but keeping the grass mowed is pretty important for multiple reasons and our last couple of visits have seen overgrowth everywhere. If you enjoy being out on the lake, this is a fantastic campground on Barren River Lake!

The Narrows attendants Daryl and Linda, and the campground host, William and Stephanie are the most professional, courteous and welcoming we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They go above and beyond to make the camping experience enjoyable and memorable! The Christmas In July weekend is just wonderful for kids of all ages with decorations, a parade, Santa and all his helpers in costume!! Are you kidding me!! What a great bunch of folks, and a fantastic facility!
