Canal Campground is highly praised for its spacious and clean sites, friendly hosts, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite among campers. Visitors enjoy the quiet atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and biking. Not a great place for tents with small gravel areas, cement if you have the handicapped spot even though there a grassy spot next to it. Great area though, and pretty spots for camping rigs.

Canal Park was a nice stop for us. People checking in were welcoming and the park was well maintained. We did not use the bath house, so no comment there. The road in the campground leading to the campsights was winding and narrow, but we were able to get our 39' Super C to our site with out issue.

We had a nice time at Canal with the exception of no hand soap in the restrooms. There were also an extreme amount of ants in there as well.
