Not a great place for tents with small gravel areas, cement if you have the handicapped spot even though there a grassy spot next to it. Great area though, and pretty spots for camping rigs.

Canal Park was a nice stop for us. People checking in were welcoming and the park was well maintained. We did not use the bath house, so no comment there. The road in the campground leading to the campsights was winding and narrow, but we were able to get our 39' Super C to our site with out issue.

We had a nice time at Canal with the exception of no hand soap in the restrooms. There were also an extreme amount of ants in there as well.

Really enjoyed our spot at Canal on Hill Loop, however if you are a large rig be aware that the Hill loop is difficult to get in and out of for large rigs. But perfect to watch the boats, sailboats and barges pass. Little Cafe is a must place to eat at and the town of Grand River is quaint. If you drive through the Buffalo and Elk sanctuary...the best time is morning or later in the evening when they are more active

The dump station hole was difficult to reach with my hose. I never had that issue before.

Nice views of the Canal, Barges passing through, sunrise and sunset. I like that they had recycling, you don’t see that at too many campsites.
