Annex A is a exceptional Campground. Sites are large, pristine, lots of grass, shade at certain times of the day, and level sites. Overall park grounds were well maintained.
Arranged group tours of the Fish Hatchery and Dam which were excellant and recommend taking the Dam tour.
Big Daddy's had excellent food.
Would definitely recommend this campground. Only drawback is roads leading to the recreation are might be a bite more windy then preferred, but all good condition.

the only thing that would make Kendall better is if it were full hook up.(septic) Occasionally better internet would be helpful, but not a factor. One of our favorite places to camp. Love it.

Love the park,sites are big & level.But the tick's are out of control. Great place to fish if you are from KY, but to buy a license is crazy money. Camped there with group of 12 campers,should have been 18 but park said it was full, not true the local play the game of booking until they check the weather or really don't need that week before the holiday. Not fair to others. maybe some will read this & fix that problem. I will not camp there again do to the tick problem. Had 7 on me in 4 days.

This is such a beautiful campground! We just loved it! The sites are large and so beautifully wooded. Our camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. It’s truly one of the nicest campgrounds around!

Everythinh was good, clean restrooms, But the fishing was rather poor,in the Hatchery stream ..... I've been coming here for yaers and the last 2 were the worst.....They used to release fish every few days,, I think they release them every week and not the weeks I was there, now, and last year ... Other people experience also

Such a beautiful campground. It is well maintained and the hosts are so friendly. We definitely enjoyed our stay. We were on site 36 and it needed to be cleaned up better was our only complaint

Getting There
From Jamestown, Kentucky, take US Highway 127 south for 10 mi and turn right just before crossing the dam. Campground is on Kendall Road.

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites.
