We had a issue with our reservation due to the fact we reserved for more than 14 days in a running 30 day calendar I admit had a portion of our stay under my husband’s name and the rest under mine. I just dont understand the need for the rule. Aren't our parks here for us to enjoy. I make my reservations 6 months in advanced. Im also hearing starting next year we will not get the gate code til we check in. We have a couple concerns here. 1. We stay on the Kendall annex side. So we will have to pull our 40 ft camper to the other side where there is no easy place to turn around??? We have to pull it through the entire campground??? That makes sense. 2. What if we arrive late and the host is no longer in the dhack

Check in was fair! No issues ONLY AFTER 3:00pm ONLY!
We handled it and the wait was worth this great COE campground!
Trout stream, tree canopy, deer in our site, The Cumberland River!
It’s worth the visit.

Very nice and shaded. Some sites are closer together than others, but the sites are fairly spacious.

Bathroom cleanliness was horrible! The staff did go in to clean but it was hard to tell that they had even been there.

We stayed in the annex campground and it was so nice. The site was level and well shaded by afternoon. The bathrooms were always clean. We saw plenty of wildlife roaming thru the sites and fishing was convenient with the access to the creek very close. We also enjoyed walking thru the hatchery nearby. Big Daddy’s snack shack across from the hatchery was a favorite place to go to watch the water run thru the dam and to get some ice cream to cool off. This is on our list of favorite places to camp.
