The only complaint I have on this campground and what would make it better is the addition of sewer hookups.
Otherwise, nice campground and nice stay.

WOW, wow, what a beautiful well-maintained camping and recreation area. The sites are large with a picnic table and most had an additional wooden stand to put a grill on, and some sites are separated by trees. A beautiful steam to fish and wade in. The river and lake are beautiful. I stayed in sites 117 and 116. The free washing machines and dryers at each bath/restroom house and free showers. Definitely one of my top 3 favorite campgrounds in my 6 years of traveling around the states. The staff are friendly too.

We loved site 47. Quiet and private. Showers ran out of hot water one night however.

Getting There
From Jamestown, Kentucky, take US Highway 127 south for 10 mi and turn right just before crossing the dam. Campground is on Kendall Road.

- Off-road vehicles not permitted
- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites.
