Overall, the campground was very quite & peaceable. This site is close to the bathhouse, but yet private at the same time. The over all layout was good.

Love the trees and shrubs in the park. Sites are clean and well kept. The fish hatchery is next door and facinating.

We love camping at Kendal. We do have a hard time trying to get an open spot in the annex. But we love coming there when we can. ❤️

We’ve been staying at Kendall long enough to remember when it was managed, cared for and the rules were followed. It’s just a travesty to see the condition the campground is now in and how it’s virtually “lawless.” I know, that sounds dramatic.
—Everyone has a golf cart, with no handicap credentials.
—On any given day, you can find a dozen campsites with multiple boats.
—Boats and vehicles are parked on the sides of the road’s pavement because so many people are in individual campsites. We had to search numerous sites to ask people to move vehicles so we could exit with our RV.
The campsites are now disgusting:
—fire pits are full of garbage that attracts bugs
—the brush between sites is overgrown
—weeds are in the gravel and the gravel is very thin
—water pressure is less than 30 PSI
—railroad timbers are no longer secured and can roll if you step on the wrong one
—the cover was broken off the electrical pedestal
—there are no benches available in the showers to sit on to dress or undress - that’s a major safety issue
—golf carts and ebikes have no regard for speed limits
—the campground needs another dumpster location
It’s sad to see Kendall in this shape. Our last stay there was pretty tough and we’ve discussed finding another go to campground. We hope things can turn around there pretty quickly before it gets in even worse condition.

Nice campground and facilities, restaurant had good food for decent prices. We tent camped and had a nice shaded spot with plenty of room, looked like most spots were that way. Several things for kids to do as well
