The camp ground is great. The trees and shade are awesome. The sites are large and clean.

Clean camping. Friendly staff. As for the cons , no WiFi in the annex and Verizon service is weak. Limited shade.
We had a difficult time getting reservations and while we were there lots of campsites with no occupancy.

Our fav campground, but some of the kids riding e-bikes at max speed through the campground and on the sidewalks around the bath house are going to get someone seriously injured. Apparently the camp hosts told them to slow down, but no one listened. Not Kendall’s fault, but some signage would MAYBE persuade parents to actually parent their children.
The sites are well maintained, the camp hosts are super awesome, Big Daddy’s has wonderful food.

The restrooms were clean and staff were very friendly. Recently, there were severe storms possibly coming and the camp host came around to tell us that the center of the bath house (best place in the park) would be unlocked.

This has become my favorite ky campground. The river, fish hatchery and hatchery creek provides things to do. The snack area and splash pad are nice. The grounds are very well kept. There are lots of deer in the campground

Have come here for years and love it. Our only issue is that only a couple of spots in "old section" is big enough for our pop-up camper plus our pontoon, but that's where more shade is. We really do not like having to park the boat away from us.

Lots of this to do, lots of kids around, wish the splash paid was working while we were there but we will be returning!

Love the large sites and great shade. We have stayed here numerous summers in the past, but this year the cleanliness of the bathroom bathrooms was very questionable and not up to par from previous years. In fact, the small bathroom was men’s room was closed down and they ran out of toilet paper in the men’s other bathroom and we had to go all day without any toilet paper in that bathroom. Also, one suggestion might be to see about removing all the concrete picnic tables and replacing them with wood picnic tables like other sites currently have. The wood tables can be moved around the site to place them in the best area possible. The concrete tables can’t be moved and if you get a large rain like we had in our site 64 the picnic table had two or 3 inches of water around the whole table. The cellular coverage in the campground was very spotty most of the times I only had one bar or no bars on T-Mobile. My brother had Verizon and he had similar coverage issues not sure what has changed since last year. Maybe it’s just a foliage on all the trees but I don’t remember cellular coverage being that spotty.
