Had a problem with getting on the site when there was nobody on it had to wait three hours to get on the site said it was a contract with somebody to clean out and clean the side up and there wasn’t even nobody around on Sundays, kinda aggravating for the for the campers that’s coming in because we have to sit in 100° temperature and wait or to get on the site that’s empty. It needs to be changed for 1 o’clock. We can check in if nobody’s on the site go ahead and camp this problem needs to be addressed.

To begin with, the area is absolutely beautiful! My husband caught a trout when we went to the river. We even stopped at the hatchery and did some fishing. As for the campground, there were some issues. We have a tent. I picked campsite 109 knowing it was handicapped because my husband has trouble with his knees and it was closer to the bathroom. We were not told in any email or anywhere else that if you're camping with a tent that it cannot be on the grass. Where else would you put the stakes in the ground to pop the tent up? Let's be logical about that nonsense. There was a guy that asked to use the code because he was visiting friends there in the annex while camping in the other campground. We told him no. He still got it and came to visit his friends. Next thing we know the park attendant comes to our campsite and tells us our tent can't be on the grass, it has to be on the concrete slab. The campsite across from us?, tent on the grass. The showers are also on a timer and it doesn't give you enough time to shower. Just put shampoo in my hair and the water went off. Had to turn around and hunt for the button without being blinded by shampoo on multiple occasions. There was a quiet policy. Yet a few campsites down, there was some loud music pumping all night.
We haven't yet decided if we will come back here yet. That's still up in the air. To fish, most definitely!

A very nice campground and the gate attendant was very helpful. Beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife to see. The hatchery is a short walk away and a nice place for the kids to experience.

We arrived at 2:40PM and were told we could NOT get in untill 3PM. I'm in my 50's and have been coming to this campground since I was a kid. We have always been able to check in a little early. If you're going to start enforcing the 3PM check-in time, maybe it would be nice to notify your guests in advance. VERY DISAPPOINTING THEY WOULD NOT LET US IN 20 MINUTES EARLY!
