Always nice to have some cooler weather in August when we come. The camp sites are nice and shady in the original part. The annex get a lot more sun exposure. The deer are always a favorite. Great cell phone coverage for Verizon users.

Your website at Kendall Campground said that site # 59 has only 50 amps for electrical hookup, not 30 amps. It made me buy an adapter. But the site has 30 amps. Did you double-check or correct it? Thanks

Kendall is one of my favorite places to camp. I enjoy Hatchery Creek and the peace and quiet there.

Very clean and peaceful. Beautiful wildlife at the campsite. Deer and squirrels are plentiful. I highly recommend Big Daddy’s restaurant. Campsites are laid out very well. Backing in the camper is a breeze. This is our new favorite spot.

We stayed in the annex campground and it was so nice. The site was level and well shaded by afternoon. The bathrooms were always clean. We saw plenty of wildlife roaming thru the sites and fishing was convenient with the access to the creek very close. We also enjoyed walking thru the hatchery nearby. Big Daddy’s snack shack across from the hatchery was a favorite place to go to watch the water run thru the dam and to get some ice cream to cool off. This is on our list of favorite places to camp.

Getting There
From Jamestown, Kentucky, take US Highway 127 south for 10 mi and turn right just before crossing the dam. Campground is on Kendall Road.

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites.
