The splash pad was broken - no one sent an email before hand or anything. The local pool was also closed. There was nothing for my children to do there or a way to stay cool.

This camp ground offers so many features that you can enjoy. The sites are extremely large and private. We had many deer sightings and other wildlife. The bathrooms and showers were clean and inviting. The staff is very helpful. We recommend this camp ground for anyone from tenting to Class A. There are several places to see within walking distance and they are FREE!! You will not be disappointed in Kendall Campground for your next rv/camping experience.

The annex campground provided a very enjoyable stay. We booked for 3 nights, but had to change sites for the 3rd night, which was a pain. Anyway we had an awesome stay.

One of our favorite places. It’s a great place to visit with the family. The splash pad is a great place to cool off and the trout stream is perfect for fishing with children. The river brings opportunity for more experienced anglers and let’s not forget the lake. It’s absolutely beautiful. Plenty of activities for anyone.
As far as cell service it’s not bad with Verizon we were able to stream when we were setting in the camper.
The only draw back your 20 minute drive from a grocery store if you need one.

Friendly staff, clean campgrounds and bathrooms even when the campground was at capacity. Electric hookups include regular wall plugs so we were able to inflate our air mattresses. Nice fish cleaning station and great location next to hatchery creek. Plan to return in the future.

Getting There
From Jamestown, Kentucky, take US Highway 127 south for 10 mi and turn right just before crossing the dam. Campground is on Kendall Road.

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites.
