One of the best COE parks we've visited.
It has all the usual amenities, plus a "store" with fresh veggies and local foods and an extra beautiful lake.
Many of the waterfront sites in the main section are non-electric, which is a nice nod to tenters who generally get stuck in "primitive camping areas".
The terrain is quite hilly so the view from almost every site is very good.
Bath house is spotless and has great showers.
If you want to enjoy a glass of wine, beer or booze; buy it in Bowling Green because the local counties are dry.

Beautiful campground, most sites have a lake view. We were in site 47, which oddly is RIGHT next to another site (29) that even shares the driveway. (which was not clear via the campground map). Just something to be aware of when booking that site.
It was the last weekend of the season and very crowded, Halloween celebration and decorations. We used as base camp while visiting Mammoth Cave. Great weekend, we would happily stay at this campground again.

I've been camping for nearly 50 years at hundreds of campsites in dozens of states and, I must say, this was one of the best designed layouts I've ever seen. First off, the way they built up the base of the campers area making it level and creating an elevated promontory was very clever. It improved the line of site over the beautiful lake view. Secondly, the sites were not crammed tightly next to each other - they were nicely spaced out. What I liked best was the way the sites at the lake were laid down at an angle to the lake instead at right angles like the majority of campsites. This actually gives campers more isolated space and autonomy. These factors led to a wonderful and enjoyable camping experience. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone.
