The view from our specific campsite is what really made the experience. Absolutely gorgeous, looking out on the lake, especially with fall colors starting. The built in prep table was also a nice touch.
We got in late and were definitely confused by where Google maps brought us (we used the exact address from recreation.gov) so just be looking for the entrance a little before the pin if you arrive in the dark.
Bathrooms were clean enough and expect to see/hear campsites and lots of RVs/generators. I bet a midweek visit would be quieter.

We had a great stay here. The sites were well done. The closeness didn't really bother me. We were lakeside, so it's understandable.

Our 2nd time there. Although the view was not a good as the last time, we still enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, clean well kept and well managed facilities. We will definitely be back next year!
