We participate in the Nolin Lake clean up every year with out Boy Scout Troop. Usually the campground is nice and quiet. This time however, there were multiple groups of people being loud and obnoxious. When you have a group of tent campers blasting music 4 sites down, and you can hear it inside your camper, it is too loud. Quiet time is 10pm. They played music very loudly until after 11pm. Then a group over in D29 stayed up until 1:30 am partying. Whooping and yelling and laughing. Absolutely horrible. People today have NO respect for others. Visitors are supposed to be gone by 9:30 pm. The loud party in site D29, had visitors. Because at 1:30am when they finally quieted down, you could hear them yelling "Goodbye" to each other!! They were drinking the whole time, and I am sure that someone drove home intoxicated that night! Visitor restrictions is on the rules and regs for the campground. Plus, the entrance sign also say NO Alcohol. But yet, it seems the camp ground host, Sheriffs dept and everyone else just turns a blind eye to those rules. Needless to say, we will not be staying her again, and next year, we will participate in a different lake clean up. I will not be staying at Moutardier camp ground again!

Very nice experience. I was working and had data connection the entire time. I wish there was more grass space but that had more to do with site i chose.
I do wish lakeside sights had power and water.

The campground is on a beautiful lake near Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. The facilities here were excellent with a lot to do, especially if you have a boat. We’ll most likely come back if we’re in that area.

It’s our 5 times to stayed here. Love the lakefront site. Last time we’ve got a trouble in our site because there’s a visitor car parking on .When we talked on the front lady she immediately take an action .And within 15 minutes the owner of the car came in and pulled out.

We camp here frequently and love this campground! The facilities are always clean, the views are amazing and the lady that works in the office is always so friendly and helpful! We did have some neighbors that their dog barks constantly the entire weekend but that’s not the campgrounds fault. We love this place and will continue to visit! We tent camp and usually stay in A, it’s a busier section with Great Lake views and we can drag the kayaks in. We plan to start staying in C which is primitive but the sites are huge!

Great accommodations and cute local stores and restaurants to get everything you need or forgot for your camping trip! Beautiful lake view with extremely friendly staff willing to help you whenever with whatever questions you have. Also an easy 30 minute scenic drive to Mammoth cave national park!
