What Guests Are Saying
Moutardier Campground offers beautiful lake views, well-maintained sites, and a friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the facilities and the helpfulness of the staff and volunteers. However, some bathrooms require maintenance, and there are occasional complaints about campsite spacing and noise from nearby boaters, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

This area was nice, isolated from the rest. People were a little rowdy at times, but overall very nice for a little family camping getaway. Restrooms are near but don’t have a shower in the A sections.

The campsites were great. This was a weekend trip and the shower house was completely out of toilet paper by 10am Sunday morning. No one at gatehouse and no one at camp host site to report it to.

My family and I have been camping at Moutardier for over a decade. We have had many great times and memories here and some not so great times but memories we still talk about to this day. Even though the kids are grown up and don't come, I still go camping with my siblings, their kids, and grandkids. The volunteers are always helpful and kind. The park is always clean and well kept. Safety has never been an issue. Our kids could ride bikes, skateboards, scooters, and walk the campsite without any worries. They could go to the playgrounds themselves or even go fishing. Our last visit I went down early and we had a great time. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, a return to the old outdoors, and some wholesome family fun and adventure to give Moutardier a try.

This was our 2nd time here. One of the nicest campgrounds we’ve been to. Very clean and well maintained . Not a bad spot there. D loop great. We’re about 40 miles away and I’d go every weekend if I could. Not far from Mammoth Caves, a must see .

Our entire campsite(s) (C009 & C010) flooded on night one and completely soaked all of our food and equipment with ankle deep water. No drainage- rain came straight off the hillside into our campsite. We left the night we got there and we weren’t able to get a refund. Don’t book any “C” campgrounds that have a slope if there is any rain the forecast.
