Came early, site wasn't quite ready for us! Bathroom facility wasn't up and running...area for tent wasn't cleaned of autumn debris. Yet, with a little work we got it up to par! People at the campgrounds were pleasant. Did have quite a bit of disturbance Saturday night with nearby campers...but nothing that got out of hand. Just not used to so much noise going on all night! Fortunately, it was only one night. Crowning moment was last full, sunny day there, with a handsome catch of three large mouth bass, one large catfish, two bluegills, and a chad! Two fish got away...but kids had a ball! Beautiful weather, peaceful environment... Just be sure not to leave Any food around at night! Raccoons are plentyful! So are those beautiful bluebirds! Would definitely like to return! Love this place! Thanks again for a lovely camp ground! Definitely a winner!

The water was low, but out of your control of course. We all had ticks, us, pets, is there anything you can do to minimize that? I know the sites used to be sprayed.🤷♀️

The hosts was very courteous and friendly. The grass needed cut. The bathroom was nasty. The toilets leaked and floors were always flooded. The sinks need replaced and there were not hot water in the sinks. We have been staying there for 20 years. They just keep getting worse and price increases every year. Further more there should not be any designated sites that have to be booked for more than two days to book them.

The roads are in a tier system. The closer you are to the bottom, the closer you are to the water.

Very peaceful. We loved the lake view from all areas of the campground. Grandkids went on adventures all weekend while walking over the large rocks boarding the wayer shore. Very good area for kayaking or paddle boarding.

Our site was described as tent or pop up camping only, but the grassy area for setting up a tent wasn’t flat, which meant we slept on a slope. I tried changing to another site on the website I’d reserved the site on, but was u able to do so.
Multiple nearby campsites had dogs that didn’t follow the leash law and allowed their dogs to run loose.
The other things that made the stay less than great weren’t the campgrounds fault, just dumb &/or inconsiderate campers. Many drove the wrong way on one way roads, babies/toddlers crying for hours on end, dogs barking, and what sounded like someone pitching horseshoes at 2am.
Camping can be fun, but it definitely isn’t peaceful and relaxing.

Follow US 31W North from Bowling Green for approximately 14 miles then turn left onto KY 101. In appriximately 6 miles, Hwy 101 becomes Hwy 259 North. Follow Hwy259 North for 16 miles before turning right on KY 2067. Drive approximately 2 miles and you'll see signs for the Moutardier Campground on the right. Total driving distance from Bowling Green is about 37 miles; driving time is around 55 minutes.
From Louisville, KY
Take I-65 south from Louisville for approximately 45 miles. Take exit 91, Follow WK Pkwy for 29 miles to exit 107(Hwy 259) Follow 259 South for 12 miles. Turn left on KY 2067. Drive approximately 2 miles and you'll see signs for the Moutardier Campground on the right. Total dricing distance from Louisville is about 88 miles; driving time is around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
From Nashville, TN
Take I65 North for approximately 66 miles. Merge onto KY 446 via exit 28 (towards Hwy 31W) Follow 31W North for approximately 10 miles, then turn left on KY 101. In appriximately 6 miles, Hwy 101 becomes Hwy 259 North. Follow Hwy259 North for 16 miles before turning right on KY 2067. Drive approximately 2 miles and you'll see signs for the Moutardier Campground on the right. Total driving distance from Nashville is about 100 miles; driving time is around 1 hour, 45 minutes.
The campground is accessible via I-65 approximately 45 miles to the east, and US 31W North approximately 14 miles from Bowling Green. Additionally, KY 101 and KY 259 provide direct access to the campground.
