This Was A Repeat Reservation For Our Annual Church Picnic. This Was Once Again An Awesome Event For Us. Only Small Issue . . . Just When You Pull Pass The Gate, There Is Quite A Drop Onto The Gravel Road. Needs A Truck Load For Chips And Dust Gravels, Or A Blacktop Extension. Otherwise Everything Was Great, The Shelter, Lake Access, The Bathhouses Were Clean And Ready. Highly Recommended ! Ranger Christine Came By And Was Very Helpful.

The bath house was not cleaned before we got there, had to clean it ourselves before we could use it . After the camp host arrived the third day things got much better!!

The camp ground was good ! The group pavilion needed cleaned up a bit. We brought a blower and used it to clean the debris off the pavilion before we gathered and prepared our meals.
The trees need trimming, as we pulled our boat around the camp ground, all the trees brushed against our boat and got the boat all dirty inside.
I know this is tent camping, but the restrooms did need to be swept out in the corners, etc. ( too many spider webs!!)
The lake is always beautiful!! I did enjoy my time.

I recently stayed at Craig’s Creek Site A and had an overall excellent experience! The natural beauty of the area is simply breathtaking, and the amenities provided made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. However, there are a couple of minor areas for improvement that would elevate the campground even further.

First, the bathhouse and restrooms could benefit from a bit more attention, particularly in terms of pest control. We noticed a few spiders during our stay, and a thorough spraying would certainly enhance the comfort and cleanliness of these facilities. Additionally, some of the wood on the picnic tables and grill tables is starting to show signs of wear and could use replacement soon to ensure they remain safe and inviting.

Despite these minor issues, the campground is truly a gem. Bill, the camp host, was a standout! He had the entire place mowed and looking pristine, which really added to the overall ambiance. It's clear that he takes great pride in maintaining the grounds. Bill's presence was reassuring, as it felt like there was always someone around to keep an eye on things, which added to our sense of security. Plus, he was incredibly helpful, offering firewood and ice for purchase, which made our stay even more convenient.

In conclusion, Craig’s Creek Site A is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors. With a few small improvements, it could easily be a five-star experience. Thanks to Bill's hard work and dedication, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning in the future!

My only complaint is that campsite B is not level. It kind of felt like you were sleeping on a slope. But the campsite itself was nice. We enjoyed ourselves.

Craig's Creek Campground was in perfect condition. The campground host couple was extremely friendly. We had a most enjoyable experience. The Wayfarer group looks forward to coming back to Craig's Creek again.
