Holly Bay Campground is a great spot, clean, well‑kept, and right on Laurel River Lake. The campsites are spacious and wooded, the hosts are friendly, and the water is incredibly clear. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, hike, or get out on the lake.

Holly Bay is a gem! Beautiful campground with spacious, wooded sites. The staff does an amazing job making sure everything top notch. Our camp host was wonderful.
We prefer to camp during the week. You feel like you're the only ones there. It is so peaceful and quiet.
We enjoy hiking and there are an abundance of trails. VanHook Falls is a favorite and is super close to the campground. It's best to go after a good rain if possible. The Sheltowee Trace Trail runs along the lake and is accessible from the campground in multiple places. In the warm weather swimming is a great option.
Depending on which loop you're in the marina is close by. We like loop G and will sometimes walk to the marina for dinner. It takes about 50 minutes but is such an enjoyable walk.
Holly Bay is hands down are favorite place to visit.

Beautiful layout, private camping spots , well maintained facilities. Will definitely visit again! Bonus- the lake is clean and crystal clear!!

The only problem at all is only being one dump station so at check out time the wait is very long.

Everything was good, staff was friendly. Our site had a squirrel that terrorized us and our site. Destroyed our grill cover.

From London, Kentucky, take Exit 38 off I-75. Turn west on KY 192, then go 14.2 miles and turn south (left) on KY 1193. Follow signs to Holly Bay Campground entrance (3 miles).

Policies & Rules
General
- Each single campsite is limited to 6 people and 2 vehicles.Double sites are limited to 12 people and 4 vehicles.Cars, trucks, trailers, boats, motorcycles ,etc. ARE considered vehicles. One boat or trailer per site only.All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on roadsides, grass, or non-designated areas is not permitted.If space allows, additional vehicles may be permitted for a $10 fee per vehicle. However, extra vehicles may be refused if parking is not available.All additional vehicles must exit the campground by , unless parked in an approved designated parking area.Guests are responsible for ensuring their party complies with all occupancy and vehicle limits.
- Pet Policy – Dogs must be kept on a visible leash at all times. Electronic fence collars are not allowed.
- Reserve Your Site Carefully – Make sure the site you choose can accommodate your equipment. The site you reserve is yours; moving to another site is not allowed.
- Boat & Trailer Policy – Only one boat and trailer per campsite is allowed due to limited space at the boat ramp and within the campsites. Boat Trailers Count as a vehicle.
- Electric Surcharge – Electric hookups include a surcharge in the campsite price.
- Occupancy Limits – Maximum of 6 campers per single site.

- Bear Safety – Bears frequent in the area. Keep all food in approved containers at all times to protect yourself and wildlife.
- Firewood Guidelines – Don’t move firewood! Help protect our forests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. To learn more, visit Don't Move Firewood
