Mammoth Cave Campground is well-managed, clean, and offers ample amenities, including running water in restrooms and access to nearby hiking trails and a restaurant. We were happy with the sites and their size. Happy to have the shower facilities still open in November. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms near our site. It would be nice to have more electrical sites and better wifi.

Unfortunately I stayed at the campground at the end of the season. The tent only loop was closed and someone on my loop ran their generator right across from me into the evening which was irritating. I could have complained to campground security but decided it was easier to move to another site.
The campground has great ammenities - hot (pay) showers, a well supplied camp store, and easy walk to the visitor center. _

Great site, enjoyed the Campground but the site next to mine was a RV that pulled in and said their batteries are not working correctly and they need to run their loud generator. They started the generators soon as they pulled in till after 8 o’clock and then the next morning at 8 AM they was back on. They said they need it for their Starlink where they can be on the Internet to watch TV. I ended up leaving early because it was so noisy.

Very nice campground with lots of shade, the sites are good sized and open enough to get sunlight but still some shade coverage, but that depends on the site. Site 101 was great. Not far from the bathroom. Bathrooms are alright but nothing special.

The night we camped without electricity was uncomfortable. We moved sites for night two and it was great.

Awesome tours (Domes & Dripstones and Historical) and great tour guides for both of them. I did worry about the D&D tour having so many steps, but there were never so many at one time that it felt like it was strenuous at all. In fact, in my opinion, the Historical was a little harder than the D&D due to the amount of steps at one time right at the end. The only thing I regret is that I stayed 2 days to do the cave tours and didn't realize the beauty of this park on the surface. I missed out on some exceptional hiking trails. Will definitely have to come back.
