Campground seemed well maintained and easy to navigate, but it would have been nice to know that the showers were pay showers before showing up at the bathhouse.

The campground and bathroom were very clean and safe. We loved riding our bikes everywhere on the park grounds and campground. The camp store had the missing items we forgot. I was disappointed with the showers, but we were able to shower. I would highly recommend shower shoes. It would be awesome if they put some kind of shelf in there to put you dry clothes or your dry towel on, but at the end of the day it wasn't a deal breaker. We are already planning our next visit. I highly recommend going to visitor center each day and see what activities they are offering that day; they are well worth going too; and very informational.

Beautiful, peaceful campground only a short walk from the visitor's center. We looked into staying at other campsites in the area, but the convenience of staying at Mammoth Cave Campground the night before our morning cave tour was easy and fun!

Our experience at Mammoth Cave was excellent. the campground was nice, although some sites had some standing water to the amount of rain we had. The cave tours were awesome! We loved the Grand Avenue tour and learned so much from our excellent guide Taylor. His vast knowledge, commitment and love for the park made the experience special. We decided to take another tour the next day and were very happy to have Taylor as the guide again. The hiking trails are beautiful. I hope to return to Mammoth Cave int he future!

Campground itself was super; well-maintained, level sites with appropriate isolation. Grills in good working order. Ample trash receptacles. Showers just OK, since half of the money spent went to just heat the water; charging less or giving more time could be the remedy. A constant flow hot water system would be prohibitively expensive.

We really enjoyed our two nights at this spot. It's close to basically everything you want when camping - restrooms, water pumps, convenience store, visitor center, and a number of trails. The spot for our tent was nice and flat, and everyone around us was welcoming and undisruptive. It's far enough from the main entrance to not have a ton of vehicles passing through. We'd definitely stay here again in the future.

The Historical Tour was well worth it. The Mammoth Dome was defiantly the highlight.
