Big sites, although because of all the fallen leaves, I wasn't sure where exactly I can setup my tent.

Mammoth Cave Campground offers beautiful, well-maintained sites with ample tree cover, providing a quiet and peaceful camping experience. Campers appreciate the convenient access to the visitor center and various trails, along with friendly and attentive staff. While some facilities, like bathrooms and showers, could benefit from updates, the overall cleanliness and spaciousness of the campground make it a favorable choice for visitors.

The camping grounds were clean and beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The paths were nicely lit at night. The only drawback was the showers which you have to pay to use, are old and are located quite far away from the camp sites.

Fantastic experience. Clean, well-spaced, perfectly set up camp spots for a reasonable price.
I did the guided cave tour in the morning—I am not a fan of group activities but I gotta say the ranger who led the tour was great and the whole experience was so well run. I did not expect to like the campground or the tour as much as I did. I liked it a lot a lot. I will be back to camp and do other cave tours.
Whoever runs this National Park is hitting on all cylinders. The staff were great, everything is so well thought out, and for a busy park the integrity of protecting wildness is maintained. Very impressed.

We had some difficulty the day prior stopped later in the evening; we arrived without a reservation. The online reservation process was very good. We spent a few hours hiking the next morning and had a great time turning an otherwise difficult situation into a great experience.

We always have a great time at Mammoth Cave! Great tent camping, with clean bath house. Great loop for kids to bike/roller blade! Excellent “woods” for kids to play! Our third visit and I’m sure we’ll return!
Ps. Also did domes and Dripstones tour. Awesome!

So disappointed that the Campground had so many loops closed on a holiday weekend when all open sites were fully reserved/booked! Additionally, the camp store paid showers was $1.50 for 6 minutes...however, the shower didn't get hot until 4 minutes in.

The staff were friendly and courteous. The campsite was fine for a primitive site, the shower room was so outdated and a little gross and the cost to take a shower was a bit ridiculous for the condition of the showers. I did not take a shower. I would suggest if you are going to charge for showers that you at least have updated clean facilities in order to do so.
