So we have a 37 ft fifth wheel and the site is very difficult to get into due to a ditch across the road making it hard to make the turn into the site. Had to come in from the wrong direction and pull into another drive to make the turn. Other than that place is quite and clean decent cell signal.

This site sits next to the highway. It is a noisy site in the evening and early morning hours. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

Brought the camper up from Birmingham to meet our daughter and granddaughter from Chicago for a weekend of camping. Beautiful place. Lots of opportunities to have fun in nature while still social distancing. The only park person we really interacted with was the person who checked us in at the guard shack. He was very helpful and pleasant. Excellent visit. We will be back!

North Fork is a great family campground. The playground is nice, the nearby boat ramps are convenient, the hosts are great. There are a lot of children in the campground, but people tend to drive a little fast, so beware! The camp sites are roomy, however, some of the smaller loops require using the grass to get bigger campers in their site. (The smaller loops are fun when camping with a group.) Some sites are gravel, while others are asphalt. There is water at every site. The price is very reasonable for the amount of fun. We got two puppies at the start of the camping season, and everyone was very friendly with them (even though they were still getting used to camping). All other dogs were appropriately tied up or inside when we walked them.
Little Dave's has great food! We eat there every time we camp at North Fork! There is a hardware store very close, which has about anything you might need (and more). It's fun to pop in there, even if you don't need anything. There's also a Dollar General right next door to the hardware store. They both sell ice and just about anything lake-related.

Continue on Bypass Road KY-79 for 2.1 miles. Turn right onto KY-79, traveling 10.1 miles. Continue on 1st Avenue, KY-79S for 495 feet. Turn a slight right onto US-60, traveling 11.8 miles. Turn left onto KY-259/KY-79, traveling 9.1 miles. End at 9077 South Highway 259, McDaniels, KY. Distance is approximately 72 miles with an approximate travel time of 1 hour, 15 minutes.
