it is always a good time we usually go to the same site. It's like being in your private forest, plus being able to use the docks. Site B10 the driveway is short on the one side when trying to back the camper in the wheels of the camper and the truck drop off the curb side could be dangerous

Love the beautiful setting here. Camp sites are mostly spaced out for a little more privacy than I’ve found at others. It is clean and I regularly saw staff around the place. Cell service was also good. My ONLY negative is no water hookups. I’d love to see that come! But great campground.

The sites were very spacious. The restrooms were newly renovated. We will stay here again.

Campsites were nice, clean and clearly marked. Shower houses were pretty clean and worked as they should with warm water. The campground boat ramp needs a sign to tell you to take the lower road (on the right) to the ramp. It can be a little confusing for a first timer because you can’t actually tell where that road goes.

Nice but not as private as others. Nice path to lake.

The showers and restrooms need restoration. The beach needs more sand and a makeover. The showers at the beach need attention too.

Twin Knobs is a great campground. Lots of shady, private campsites and clean, private bathhouses. This comment may be more about recreation.gov policies, but we were not able to book our preferred campsite (B-01) because it was listed as FF (first come-first serve). So we reserved another site we like (C-08) thinking that we would just switch when we arrived if B-01 was available. But when we arrived they would not allow us to switch. They said it is too confusing and the system can't handle changes in campsites. I don't understand the purpose of FF campsites. Why not allow all sites to be reserved on-line or allow someone to switch when they arrive at the campground?
