Small but excellent campground for families. Wide range of sites depending on what you’re looking for. We stayed in 14. It had great views, was a large site and directly across fro the stairs to the lake. There are cozy waterfront sites. 11 and 12 were nice, and wooded sites tucked away for privacy, 31. We will definitely be back.

The Hosts do an excellent job taking care of the campground. Plus they are very helpful and friendly. They make staying even more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Fishing Creek Campground! We stayed in Site #30 for 6 days. It’s a great spot if you want shade & privacy, but it’s small. Our camper is 23 feet so it fit perfectly. We walked down to the boat ramp daily & the picnic area.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Place was clean. Had no problems with loud neighbors or anything. Definitely will come back.

Great campground with many spots next to the lake. Clean. Very friendly camp host. Camp sites are on a kind of tier system up the hill. Dump station is on one of those tiers. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Separate building for handicap was newer. Only one small trail behind the campsite. Most trails are across the lake.

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.
