Always love coming to this campground. It’s small, at the end of the road, close to town, on the water, a little crowded on weekends but weekdays are wonderful. Camp hosts work to make your stay enjoyable, always checking on how you’re doing, and if they can make your stay better. Bathhouse is clean, but showers are small. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time there the campground host was very nice considerate making sure the campground is safe this makes our fourth year to Come and we just love it so much♥️

While we only had a 1 night stay while traveling, our experience was very good. The campground was a bit tight space wise but we had no difficulties with our small travel trailer. The campground was clean as were the bathrooms/showers. We were fortunate to have a beautiful site right on the water. The camp directors (Teresa and her Husband) were very friendly and helpful.

Fishing Creek is just a great place to camp. Most sites are more private than other places and right on Lake Cumberland. Easy walk to water. Camping attendants Teresa & Gene do a wonderful job.
Would be nice if WI-FI was available.

Well Maintained camp ground. My family visit several time every summer . The lots are nice and you don't feel cramped up. Great view of the lake. And staff is friendly

Will definitely be back. Great host they keep everything clean and debris off camp site. Restroom and shower house was clean.

Everything was wonderful. The only complaint I have is the view to the water is very grown up an it’s hard to see or access the water! Please make it more accessible in the upper end for campers to see an access the water. Thank you!!

Probably our first choice. Home away from home. I think the fact that it’s so close to Somerset is why we like it.

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.

5.6 mi drive to downtown Somerset (about 12 min)

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites only.
