We just love the peaceful atmosphere at Fishing Creek Campground, with the beautiful lake views. The camp hosts are so friendly and easy to work with. It is a wonderful place to visit. Almost all sites have water and electric (including tent only sites) so make sure if you have an RV you are not booking a Tent Only site. They are all clearly labeled on Recreation.gov. We highly recommend this campground!!

Hosts were very pleasant and friendly. Don't believe website was very accurate on site dimensions. Did not use washers and dryers but looked overdue for replacement.

Party crowd on beach made the trip bad. Need water patrol to shut down drunks at 3am plus the shooting of clay pigeons

The camp host (Teresa) was very nice.
The whole area is very clean. The sites are a bit small. We came back to our campsite late Friday night, and found our new neighbor had moved in with his awning and the front of his pickup hanging over into our space. We maneuvered into our space close enough to reach the water with our 10" hose, but just barely. We had to leave very early the next morning, so I never got to see our inconsiderate neighbor.

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites only.
