Always love coming to this campground. It’s small, at the end of the road, close to town, on the water, a little crowded on weekends but weekdays are wonderful. Camp hosts work to make your stay enjoyable, always checking on how you’re doing, and if they can make your stay better. Bathhouse is clean, but showers are small. We will be back.

Make sure you turn left BEFORE the boat ramp parking lot!

Site 46 is a multi level site. The parking level is very narrow at 11ft and is very unlevel in both directions. The picnic table level is very nice and the site has a good water view. For our trailer with a slide, I would not stay on this site again.

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.

5.6 mi drive to downtown Somerset (about 12 min)

- Golf carts, scooters and moped vehicles are not authorized on project roadways unless handicap credentials can be established.
- America the Beautiful discount cards do not apply to group sites or shelters. Discount cards good for standard sites only.
